  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (gluten-free if needed)
  • 0 for frying Vegetable oil
  • 12 Vegan slider buns
  • 2 tbsp Vegan butter
  • 2 tbsp Agave nectar

Directions

Step 1

Start by pressing the extra-firm tofu to remove excess moisture. Wrap the tofu in a clean kitchen towel and place a heavy object on top. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

Step 2

In a shallow bowl, whisk together unsweetened non-dairy milk and apple cider vinegar to create a buttermilk substitute. Add soy sauce, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

Slice the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes resembling mini chicken pieces.
