Ingredients

  • 500 g Broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 cup Cashews
  • 3 tbsp Nutritional yeast
  • 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika
  • 2 cups Water

Directions

Step 1

In a medium-sized bowl, soak the cashews in hot water for at least 15 minutes to soften them.

While the cashews are soaking, prepare the broccoli by chopping the broccoli florets into bite-sized pieces.

In a large pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and steam them for about 4-5 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
