Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 3 tablespoons vegan butter
  • 2 cups vegetable broth

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.

In a medium saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of vegan butter over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and chopped onion to the melted butter. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
