Ingredients

  • 12 oz Bowtie pasta (farfalle), gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium Carrot, grated
  • 1 stalk Celery stalk, chopped
  • 12 oz Plant-based ground meat
  • 14 oz Canned diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Nutritional yeast

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gluten-free bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
