Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3 none garlic cloves, minced
  • 300 grams vegan ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry sheets (vegan)
  • 2 tablespoons plant-based milk
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking until the onion becomes translucent, approximately 5 minutes.

Add the vegan ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until lightly browned, about 6-8 minutes.

Stir in the soy sauce, tomato paste, thyme, rosemary, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and fragrant.
