  • 12 pieces corn tortillas
  • 1 pound vegan ground beef
  • 1 medium, diced onion
  • 3 cloves, minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a splash of canola oil.

Step 2

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Saute until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the vegan ground beef. Cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula until browned.
