  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 pieces Whole wheat pita bread
  • 1 large Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 medium Tomato, chopped
  • 1 small Cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups Lettuce, shredded
  • 0.5 cup Vegan garlic sauce

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, add the textured vegetable protein (TVP) and pour in the vegetable broth. Stir to combine and let it sit for 10 minutes until the TVP has fully absorbed the liquid.

Add soy sauce, liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, coriander, paprika, and black pepper to the rehydrated TVP. Mix until well combined.
