  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 cup frozen peas

  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 4 cups water (for rice)
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a medium-sized pot, combine the rinsed basmati rice and 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
