  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Almond milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cinnamon

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Add the rolled oats and the cinnamon stick to the boiling water. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oats are soft and have absorbed most of the water.

Step 3

Remove the saucepan from the heat. Take out the cinnamon stick and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.

Transfer the cooked oats and remaining liquid into a blender. Add vanilla extract, maple syrup, and salt.

Blend the mixture on high speed until it is smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.

Add almond milk to the blender and blend again for another 30 seconds to incorporate it fully.

Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or a nut milk bag into a large bowl or pitcher to remove any leftover oat pulp.
