Directions

Step 1

Start by soaking the raw almonds in hot water for about 30 minutes, then peel the skin off each almond.

Once peeled, add the almonds to a blender along with 100 ml of almond milk. Blend until you achieve a smooth paste. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender.

In a small bowl, soak the saffron strands in a tablespoon of warm almond milk to release their color and flavor.
