Ingredients

  • 2 whole everything bagel
  • 200 grams firm tofu
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 0.5 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon black salt (Kala Namak)
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 slices vegan bacon slices
  • 4 slices vegan cheese slices
  • 1 whole avocado
  • 1 cup spinach leaves

Directions

Step 1

Drain and press the tofu to remove excess moisture. Cut it into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix nutritional yeast, turmeric powder, black salt, and black pepper to create your seasoning mixture.

Step 3

Rub the seasoning mixture onto both sides of the tofu slices.

Step 4

Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the tofu slices and cook until golden brown on one side, about 4-5 minutes.
