Ingredients

  • 2 English muffin
  • 4 slices Vegan bacon strips
  • 200 grams Firm tofu
  • 0.25 teaspoons Turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoons Nutritional yeast
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black salt (Kala Namak)
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Plant-based butter
  • 2 slices Vegan cheese slices
  • 1 tablespoon Avocado oil

Directions

Step 1

Slice the English muffins in half and lightly toast them in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown.

Step 2

Drain and press the tofu to remove excess moisture. Cut the tofu into two thick slices, about the size of the English muffins.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix together the turmeric powder, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, black salt, and black pepper.

Heat the avocado oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Add the tofu slices to the skillet. Sprinkle the spice mix evenly over the tofu and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and heated through.
