  • 100 grams vegan cheese shreds
  • 1 tablespoon vegan milk
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Step 3

Slice the tempeh into thin 'bacon-like' strips.

Step 4

In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, liquid smoke, and paprika to create a marinade.

Add the sliced tempeh to the skillet and pour the marinade over it. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the tempeh is golden and slightly crispy.
