Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 200 grams extra-firm tofu
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 medium bell pepper
  • 0.5 cup frozen peas
  • 3 stalks green onions
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger

Directions

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients by dicing the onion, mincing the garlic and ginger, and chopping the carrot and bell pepper into small cubes. Slice the green onions and set aside.

Step 2

Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut into small cubes.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil. Sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger until the onion becomes translucent.
