  • 150 grams Cane sugar
  • 120 ml Unsweetened applesauce
  • 180 ml Non-dairy milk
  • 60 ml Vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 2 medium Apples (peeled, cored, and thinly sliced)
  • 50 grams Brown sugar
  • 60 grams Rolled oats
  • 30 grams All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 50 grams Vegan butter
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.

Step 2

In a large bowl, whisk together 200 grams of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda, 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, and 0.5 teaspoon of salt.

Step 3

In another bowl, whisk together 150 grams of cane sugar, 120 ml of unsweetened applesauce, 180 ml of non-dairy milk, 60 ml of vegetable oil, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract until well combined.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Gently fold in the thinly sliced apples and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice into the batter.
