Ingredients

  • 500 ml Almond milk
  • 4 grams Agar-agar powder
  • 50 grams Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 100 ml Water
  • 30 grams Sliced almonds
  • 100 grams Fresh fruits (such as strawberries or mango, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

In a small saucepan, combine the agar-agar powder and water. Allow it to sit for about 1 minute to hydrate the agar-agar.

Step 2

Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until the agar-agar is completely dissolved, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Add the almond milk and sugar to the saucepan. Continue to cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture starts to steam, about 4-5 minutes. Do not let it boil.

Step 4

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or individual serving molds, allowing it to cool at room temperature for 10-15 minutes. Then, place it in the refrigerator to set for at least 2 hours or until firm.
