Ingredients

  • 1 whole ripe pear
  • 1 whole vanilla bean (or vanilla extract)

  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Peel and core the ripe pear, then chop it into small pieces.

If using a vanilla bean, slice it lengthwise and scrape out the seeds using the back of a knife. If using vanilla extract, measure 1/4 teaspoon instead.

Step 3

In a blender or food processor, combine the chopped pear, vanilla seeds (or extract), white wine vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
