Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Beeswax pellets
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon Sweet almond oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Vitamin E oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Mica powder (optional, for shimmer)

Directions

Step 1

In a double boiler or a heat-safe bowl placed over a pot of simmering water, combine the beeswax pellets, coconut oil, and sweet almond oil.

Step 2

Heat the mixture gently, stirring occasionally, until the beeswax is fully melted and the ingredients are well combined.

Step 3

Remove the bowl from the heat and quickly stir in the vitamin E oil and vanilla extract. If you’d like a shimmery gloss, add mica powder at this stage and mix thoroughly.

Step 4

Carefully pour the mixture into small lip gloss containers or tubes. Use a small funnel or dropper to make this step easier.

Step 5

Let the lip gloss cool and solidify completely for about 1 hour at room temperature.

Step 6

Once set, secure the lids on your containers. Store in a cool, dry place and use within 6 months.
