  • 450 grams Ground chicken
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 4 pieces Burger buns
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 1 large Tomato
  • 0.5 medium Red onion
  • 8 pieces Pickle slices
  • 4 pieces Cheddar cheese slices

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.

Step 2

Divide the chicken mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty about 1 cm (1/2 inch) thick.

Step 3

Heat a large skillet or non-stick frying pan over medium heat and add the vegetable oil.

Cook the chicken patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F). During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the pan to melt the cheese.
