Ingredients

  • 250 g All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 150 ml Warm water
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 50 g Black olives, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0 All-purpose flour (for dusting)

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well.

Step 2

Add the warm water and 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough starts to form.

Step 3

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead it for 8-10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

Step 4

Flatten the dough slightly and sprinkle the chopped black olives, dried oregano, and garlic powder over it. Knead the dough gently for a few more minutes to incorporate the olives and herbs evenly.

Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
