  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 12 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

  • 1 piece onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan with butter and set it aside.

Step 2

Cook the penne pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the marinara sauce, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
