Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Turkey cutlets
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 cup Apple cider
  • 0.5 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 0.25 cups Heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Season the turkey cutlets with salt and pepper on both sides.

Step 2

Dredge the seasoned turkey cutlets in the flour, shaking off any excess.

Step 3

Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 4

Add the turkey cutlets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the cutlets from the skillet and set aside.

Step 5

In the same skillet, pour in the apple cider and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

Step 6

Stir in the Dijon mustard and bring the sauce to a simmer. Allow it to reduce slightly, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 7

Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, allowing the sauce to thicken, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 8

Return the turkey cutlets to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them and cooking for 1-2 minutes to warm through.

Step 9

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately with your choice of side dishes, such as mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
