  • 1 lb Ground turkey
  • 1 Apple (medium, peeled and diced)
  • 1 cup Sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 sheets Premade pie crust dough
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour (for dusting)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 3

Add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Break up the meat into small crumbles as it cooks.

Stir in the diced apple, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the apples soften slightly. Remove the skillet from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
