Ingredients

  • 16 pieces jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cans canned tuna (in water, drained)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.

Step 3

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, chopped parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly blended.

Step 4

Spread 1/2 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 5

Using a spoon, stuff each cooked pasta shell with the tuna filling and place them seam-side up in the prepared baking dish.

Step 6

Once all shells are stuffed, pour the remaining marinara sauce evenly over the top of the shells.

Step 7

Drizzle 1 teaspoon of olive oil over the marinara sauce, then sprinkle additional shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top for extra cheesiness, if desired.

Step 8

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil during the last 5 minutes of baking to let the top lightly brown.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired.

Step 10

Serve warm and enjoy your Tuna Stuffed Pasta Shells!
