Ingredients

  • 2 5-ounce cans Canned tuna (in water)
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 stalk Celery (finely diced)
  • 2 tablespoons Red onion (finely diced)
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Bread slices (sourdough or whole grain recommended)
  • 4 pieces Cheddar cheese slices
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (softened)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

Drain the canned tuna thoroughly and place it in a medium-sized mixing bowl.

Step 3

Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, diced celery, diced red onion, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix until everything is well combined.
