  • 4 pieces trout fillets
  • 0.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 0.75 cups unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 cups sliced almonds
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 4 pieces lemon wedges (for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Pat the trout fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with the salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Spread the flour on a large plate. Lightly dredge each trout fillet in the flour, shaking off any excess.

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter and the olive oil over medium heat until the butter is melted and slightly foaming.
