Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 14 ounces Sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.5 cup Fresh lime juice
  • 0.25 cup Pineapple juice
  • 3 tablespoons Tequila
  • 2 tablespoons Triple sec (orange liqueur)
  • 2 cups Whipped topping, thawed
  • 0.5 cup Sweetened shredded coconut, toasted (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon Lime zest (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and granulated sugar.

Step 2

Stir in the melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.

Step 3

Press the graham cracker mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form a crust. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes to firm up while preparing the filling.

Step 4

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 5

Add the sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, pineapple juice, tequila, and triple sec. Mix thoroughly until well combined and silky smooth.

Step 6

Fold in the whipped topping gently with a spatula until no streaks remain.

Step 7

Pour the filling into the prepared graham cracker crust, smoothing out the top with the back of a spoon or a silicone spatula.

Step 8

Cover the pie loosely with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer. Freeze for at least 6 hours, or until the pie is firm and set.

Step 9

Before serving, sprinkle toasted shredded coconut and lime zest on top as optional garnishes for added tropical flair.

Step 10

Let the pie sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before slicing to make it easier to cut. Serve immediately and enjoy your tropical escape!
