Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 medium Yellow onion
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 3 medium Russet potatoes
  • 6 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3 cups Kale
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes

Directions

Step 1

Remove the casing from the Italian sausage and break it into small pieces.

Step 2

In a large pot over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned, about 6-8 minutes.

While the sausage cooks, dice the yellow onion and mince the garlic cloves.

Remove the cooked sausage from the pot and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
