  • 16 oz Cheese tortellini
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 12 Fresh sage leaves
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 8 cups Water
  • 1 tsp Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Bring 8 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt to the water to season it.

Add the cheese tortellini to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions, typically 2-4 minutes or until the tortellini float to the surface.

While the tortellini cook, heat 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
