Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and chopped onion to the pan and sauté them for 5 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.

Pour in the canned whole tomatoes, including their juice, and crush them with the back of a wooden spoon.
