Ingredients

  • 4 slices Ciabatta bread (or your preferred sandwich bread)
  • 8 slices Salami
  • 8 slices Turkey breast (deli-sliced)
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese (or Swiss cheese)
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (softened)
  • 2 leaves Romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium Tomato (sliced thinly)
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Step 2

Spread a thin, even layer of softened butter on one side of each slice of bread. This will be the outside of the sandwich when toasted.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard until well combined.

Step 4

Spread the mayo-mustard mixture on the non-buttered side of two slices of bread.

Layer the salami slices (4 per sandwich) on top of the mayo-mustard mixture, followed by 4 slices of turkey breast per sandwich.
