Ingredients

  • 2 pieces sliced bread
  • 2 pieces sliced ham
  • 2 pieces sliced cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Lay both slices of bread flat on a cutting board.

If desired, spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on one or both slices of bread.

Place one slice of cheese on top of one slice of bread.

Layer the sliced ham evenly on top of the cheese.

Add the second slice of cheese on top of the ham.
