  • 0.25 teaspoon cumin (optional)
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for a sweet version)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional, for a sweet version)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Step 2

Open the can of chickpeas and rinse them thoroughly under cold water. Drain well and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. The drier the chickpeas, the crispier they'll be.

Step 3

Spread the chickpeas evenly on the lined baking sheet. Remove any loose skins if desired but it’s not mandatory.
