Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Reduced-fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup Plain Greek yogurt (non-fat)
  • 0.33 cup Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Almond extract
  • 1 cup Espresso or strong coffee
  • 2 tablespoons Amaretto liqueur (optional)
  • 12 pieces Ladyfingers (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.25 cup Toasted almonds, sliced or chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Dark chocolate shavings (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the reduced-fat cream cheese, Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and almond extract until smooth and creamy. This will be your lighter mascarpone mixture.

Step 2

In a shallow dish, combine the espresso (or strong coffee) and Amaretto liqueur (if using). Stir to mix well.

Step 3

Lightly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture, ensuring they’re coated but not overly soggy.

Step 4

Arrange half of the dipped ladyfingers in a single layer at the bottom of a 9x5-inch loaf pan or a similar-sized dish.

Step 5

Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the ladyfingers.

Step 6

Dust a light layer of cocoa powder over the cream cheese mixture and sprinkle half of the toasted almonds on top for a nutty crunch.

Step 7

Repeat the layers with the remaining dipped ladyfingers and cream cheese mixture.

Step 8

Finish the top layer with a light dusting of cocoa powder, the remaining toasted almonds, and dark chocolate shavings, if desired.

Step 9

Cover the tiramisu with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.

Step 10

Serve chilled and enjoy a guilt-free indulgence!
