  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 8 slices Cheddar cheese (slices)
  • 8 pieces Burger buns
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 8 pieces Lettuce (leaves)
  • 2 pieces Tomato (sliced)
  • 16 slices Pickles (sliced)
  • 0.5 cups Ketchup
  • 0.25 cups Mustard

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined—avoid overmixing.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty about 1/2 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the middle of each patty with your thumb to prevent it from puffing up during cooking.

Place the patties on the preheated grill or skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on the first side without pressing down on them.
