Ingredients

  • 4 fillets Tilapia fillets
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 8 ounces Large shrimp (peeled, deveined, tails removed)
  • 4 ounces Lump crabmeat
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 small Shallot (minced)
  • 1 cup Dry white wine
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Step 1

Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

Step 2

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the tilapia fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork. Set aside on a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.

Step 3

In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and shallot, and sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 4

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Stir in the lump crabmeat and cook for an additional 1 minute to warm through. Remove the seafood from the pan and set aside.

Add the lemon juice, chopped parsley, and grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Return the shrimp and crab to the skillet, stirring gently to coat in the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to heat through.

Place a cooked tilapia fillet on each plate and spoon the creamy shrimp and crab sauce generously over the top.

Garnish with additional parsley if desired, and serve immediately with your choice of side dishes, such as rice, mashed potatoes, or sautéed vegetables.
