Ingredients

  • 6 cups water

  • 0.5 cup walnuts
  • 0.25 cup dried cranberries
  • 0.25 cup dried apricots (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 0 as desired milk or non-dairy milk (for serving, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the quinoa thoroughly in a fine mesh strainer under cold running water to remove any bitterness.

Step 2

In a large pot, combine steel-cut oats, quinoa, millet, water, and salt. Stir to mix evenly.

Step 3

Place the pot on the stove over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
