Ingredients

  • 8 whole banana peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Wash the banana peppers and carefully slice off the tops. Remove the seeds and membranes from the inside using a small spoon or knife to create a cavity for stuffing.

Step 3

In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, shredded Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, dried Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.

Step 4

Fill each banana pepper cavity with the cheese mixture using a spoon or piping bag. Be sure to stuff the peppers fully but avoid overfilling.

Step 5

Drizzle the olive oil over the stuffed peppers and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a lightly greased baking dish.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese filling is melted and golden on top.

Step 7

Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Step 8

Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley before serving for a pop of color and added flavor.
