Ingredients

  • 400 grams Penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 units Garlic cloves, minced
  • 800 grams Crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 250 grams Ricotta cheese
  • 200 grams Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 100 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).

Step 2

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 3

In a large skillet or saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 4

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the tomato sauce and mix well.
