  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 50 grams chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a 9x9-inch (23x23 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and add the semisweet chocolate chips. Stir until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and eggs until light and slightly pale, about 1 minute. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
