Ingredients

  • 16 pieces Jumbo shrimp
  • 8 ounces Lump crabmeat
  • 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 pieces Lemon wedges

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Peel and devein the shrimp, leaving the tails intact. Butterfly the shrimp by slicing down the back, being careful not to cut all the way through. Arrange the shrimp on a baking sheet, cut side up, and set aside.

Step 3

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the lump crabmeat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, egg, breadcrumbs, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix until well combined, being careful not to break apart the crabmeat.

Step 4

Spoon a small amount of the crab mixture onto the back of each butterflied shrimp, pressing gently to adhere.

Step 5

Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan or microwave. Drizzle the melted butter over the stuffed shrimp.

Step 6

Bake the shrimp in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the crab stuffing is golden and cooked through.

Step 7

Serve the crab-stuffed shrimp immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing. Enjoy!
