Ingredients

  • 16 ounces refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 ounces breakfast sausage
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 4 pieces large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Lightly grease a 12-inch pizza pan or a baking sheet.

Step 3

Press the refrigerated biscuit dough evenly across the pan to form the pizza crust. Use your fingers to pinch together any seams and ensure an even layer.

Step 4

Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes or until it begins to turn golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.

Step 5

In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease.

Step 6

Sprinkle the cooked sausage with 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Step 7

Slowly stir in the milk, a little at a time, and cook until the gravy thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

Step 8

Spread the sausage gravy evenly over the pre-baked biscuit crust.

Step 9

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese over the gravy, followed by the crumbled bacon.

Step 10

Gently crack four eggs on top of the pizza, spacing them out evenly.

Step 11

Brush the edges of the biscuit crust with melted butter for added richness.

Step 12

Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the egg whites are set but the yolks remain runny. For firmer yolks, bake a few minutes longer.

Step 13

Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired.

Step 14

Slice and serve warm. Enjoy your White Trash Breakfast Pizza!
