Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground chicken
  • 3 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 2 stalks Green onions, finely sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Thai red curry paste
  • 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 40 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetable oil (for frying)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, cilantro, green onions, minced garlic, Thai red curry paste, fish sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, and breadcrumbs.

Step 2

Using clean hands or a spatula, mix the ingredients thoroughly until evenly combined.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1 cm thick. You should get approximately 8-10 patties depending on their size.

Step 4

Heat the vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat.

Step 5

Cook the patties in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan. Fry each patty for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked through.

Step 6

Once cooked, transfer the patties to a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.

Step 7

Serve the Thai chicken patties warm with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as sweet chili sauce or peanut sauce.
