Ingredients

  • 250 grams spaghettini pasta
  • 450 grams boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • 60 ml mirin (sweet rice wine)

  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghettini pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons of water to make the teriyaki sauce.
