Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground chicken
  • 0.5 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup Teriyaki sauce (divided)
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 stalks Green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Egg
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 4 Burger buns
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 cups Button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 4 leaves Lettuce leaves
  • 1 Tomato, thinly sliced

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, panko breadcrumbs, soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, green onions, egg, salt, and black pepper.

Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands or a spoon until evenly combined.

Form the chicken mixture into 4 equal-sized burger patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
