  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup Tennessee whiskey
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme leaves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.

Lower the heat to medium and add the butter to the skillet. Once melted, add the diced onion and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and translucent.
