Ingredients

  • 500 grams large prawns or shrimps, peeled and deveined

  • 1 large bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium sliced onion
  • 100 grams green beans, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Szechuan chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons chopped scallions (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, toss the prawns/shrimps with cornstarch until evenly coated. Set aside.

Step 2

Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the prawns/shrimps to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and are slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.
