Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground chicken
  • 100 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 60 ml Milk
  • 1 small Onion
  • 2 medium Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a loaf pan with olive oil.

Step 2

Finely chop the onion, mince the garlic, and roughly chop the parsley.

Step 3

In a small bowl, soak the breadcrumbs in the milk for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Step 4

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, soaked breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

Step 5

Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down evenly.

Step 6

In a small bowl, mix the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce to create a glaze.

Step 7

Brush the glaze evenly over the top of the chicken loaf.

Step 8

Place the loaf in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).

Step 9

Remove the chicken loaf from the oven and allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
