  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro (chopped, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine tamarind paste, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, smoked paprika, ground cumin, turmeric powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.

Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.
