Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Large flour tortillas (burrito size)
  • 4 pieces Crunchy tostada shells
  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning mix
  • 0.25 cup Water
  • 1 cup Nacho cheese sauce
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking apart with a wooden spoon, about 7-8 minutes.

Step 2

Drain excess grease from the skillet, then stir in the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until well combined and thickened. Remove from heat.

Step 3

Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave for 20-30 seconds to make them more pliable.

Step 4

Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread 2-3 tablespoons of nacho cheese sauce in the center of the tortilla.

Step 5

Spoon 1/4 of the cooked ground beef mixture over the cheese sauce, spreading it evenly within about 4-5 inches in diameter.

Step 6

Place a tostada shell on top of the meat. Spread 1-2 tablespoons of sour cream over the tostada shell.

Step 7

Layer shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese over the sour cream evenly.

Step 8

Fold the edges of the tortilla up and over the center towards the middle, creating pleats to fully enclose the filling. If the tortilla does not fully cover, cut a small piece from another tortilla to fill the gap before folding.

Step 9

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Place the folded Crunch Wrap seam side down into the skillet.

Step 10

Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the bottom is golden and crispy. Flip carefully and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side. Repeat for the remaining wraps.

Step 11

Slice in half and serve warm with your favorite salsa or guacamole on the side.
